Mercoledì 21 febbraio dalle ore 10.30 alle ore 12.30 presso la Macroarea di Lettere e Filosofia si terrà l’evento di benvenuto per accogliere gli studenti e le studentesse Erasmus e Overseas che, volendo fare un’esperienza di studio all’estero, hanno scelto l’Università Roma Tor Vergata. L’evento è organizzato dal “Welcome Office” di Ateneo.

Nell’ambito del progetto Erasmus+ UNIVERSEH 2.0, associato all’Alleanza delle Università Europee per lo Spazio (European Space University of Earth and Humanity), l’Ateneo di Tor Vergata seleziona studenti e studentesse da inserire nel Consiglio studentesco di UNIVERSEH per partecipare alle attività previste dal progetto.
I tre studenti vincitori della selezione rappresenteranno l’Ateneo nei lavori di gruppo, workshop, conferenze ed eventuali viaggi in collaborazione con gli studenti appartenenti alle altre università del network europeo UNIVERSEH.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR TOR VERGATA STUDENTS
University of Rome Tor Vergata is looking for 3 members to join the UNIVERSEH Student Council.
University of Rome Tor Vergata is a partner of the Erasmus+ Project UNIVERSEH 2.0 (see info below), which includes students at the center of decision-making process and activities. For this reason, a representative body has been created within the partnership: The Student Council.
Its goal is to ensure that the perspective of the students is always included in the implementation of the UNIVERSEH 2.0 vision. It is composed of three students (one student enrolled in a Bachelor Degree Course, one in a Master degree Course, one PhD student), representatives for each partner University.
What will be your role as a member of the Student Council?
• actively working with the representatives of the other UNIVERSEH Universities as part of the Student Council, giving input to the UNIVERSEH vision and discussion;
• actively participating in at least one of the UNIVERSEH working groups;
• taking part in the workshops/conferences organized by the Alliance;
• dedicating sufficient time to the on-line meetings (tentatively 10 hours/month), willing to be engaged in European travels.
The ideal candidate should:
• be fluent in English;
• be enrolled in courses related to Space domain (all fields included: science, engineering, economics, business, social and human sciences, entrepreneurship, medicine, art and humanities)
• have good communication and organizational skills;
• have an open and inclusive mind, willingness to take initiative.

It will be an interesting opportunity for the selected candidates to further develop their own student career. Their efforts will be provided on a voluntary basis but, all the expenses related to UNIVERSEH 2.0 travels and any other initiatives, will be covered by the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
About UNIVERSEH 2.0
UNIVERSEH is an Alliance of seven Universities from seven European countries in which Tor Vergata University has been taking part since January 2023. UNIVERSEH was established in November 2020 to develop a new kind of collaboration in the field of Space within the new “European Universities” initiative, promoted and financed in its second edition with UNIVERSEH 2.0, by the European Commission (EC) within the Erasmus+ Programme.
UNIVERSEH 2.0 Project’s duration is from 01/11/2023 to 31/10/2027.

Giovedì 14 dicembre 2023 si terrà la XII edizione dell’Erasmus International dinner, una cena internazionale con gli studenti Erasmus, internazionali e nazionali iscritti presso l’Ateneo di Roma “Tor Vergata”. L’evento, organizzato dall’Ufficio Erasmus + di Economia in collaborazione con l’Ufficio Erasmus di Ateneo e gli Uffici Erasmus delle Macroaree, si terrà presso la Facoltà di Economia, via Columbia, 2 nella Sala lettura del piano terra dell’edificio A, dove verranno allestiti tavoli che ognuno dei partecipanti provvederà ad imbandire con piatti tipici e bevande del proprio paese oltre a foto e bandiere. Ci sarà anche tanta musica! Nella locandina trovate un QR code per aggiungere la vostra partecipazione e cosa porterete. L’invito è esteso a tutta la comunità accademica, studenti, docenti e staff.La festa comincerà alle 19:00 e terminerà alle 24.00.

The Tor Vergata University is organizing the XII edition of the “ERASMUS International Dinner” on Thursday 14th December 2023.
As every year, students from all over the world will participate in the event. The entire studying room on the ground floor, building A, School of Economics, Via Columbia, 2, will be dedicated to the event, and together we will set up tables for each nationality. Each one of you will have to cook a tasty specialty from your country and decorate the table with flags, pictures and typical dishes. And please, don’t forget glasses, beverages and drinks! Don’t be shy, bring all your friends! The more the merrier!
The party will start at 7:00 PM and will be over at around mid-night!

Please notice that the METRO A will close at 11.30 pm but substitute buses will be activated until 1.30 am.
To reach the dinner you won’t have any problem (we suggest to take the bus 20Express from Anagnina station to the Faculty of Economics).
To get back home take the bus 20 Express as well; if later than 12.00 am, you can take the night bus N27 from the bus stop in via Cambridge (the same stop of the 20Express).
The N27 bus will arrive up to Cinecittà, but we recommend you check the way back on the ATAC web-site:
