Roma2LUG, Linux User Group attivo nell’Università di Roma Tor Vergata, è un gruppo di studenti accomunati dalla passione per l’open source e per il software libero.
Nato nel 2011, il gruppo è stato attore principale nell’organizzazione degli ultimi eventi Linux Day (giornata nazionale dedicata al software open source diretta dall’Italian Linux Society) nella nostra Università ma soprattutto sul territorio di Roma e della provincia. Gli studenti del gruppo sono attivi nelle opere di divulgazione dell’ideologia che sta alla base del free software e si occupano di prestare assistenza a tutti coloro che vogliono avvicinarsi a questo mondo.
L’obiettivo del gruppo, oltre a quello di pubblicizzare le tecnologie open, è quello di imparare, sperimentare e progredire insieme su queste tematiche, ormai centrali nel mondo digitale in cui viviamo.
